Writing Reflections and Meditations

Heal Through Writing

The Journaling Journey; Writing Reflection and Meditation

“I am enough, and I matter”,
“I matter even though…”,
“I am not worth less or worth more than anyone else.  I am same as…”,
“G-d made me so I matter”,
“I have a unique job in this world, and I matter”,
“My weaknesses and strengths speak to my humanity, not to my value”,
“Everyone has different qualities.  Mine are also needed”,
“I am love”,
“I am more than enough”
These are all different words, different ideas, different angles, that I’ve heard people use when they connected to their inherent worth.
At the end of the day, inherent worth is a feeling, and feelings can’t be captured with words.  But we need to do our part, so we use words we know to be true, to help carry the feelings from our minds down to our hearts.
Today, I’d like you to take a moment.  Go back, if you can, to a time when you knew you were valuable just because that’s the truth.
Are you there?
What are your words??
Take good care,
“Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” ~e.e. cummings

Did you grow up with a narcissistic parent?

Is that what’s affecting your relationships today?
